邦題「心を茨に持つ少年」は誤訳であるらしい。この曲も「Bigmouth strikes again」と同じく音楽業界への批判であり、「茨」はその音楽業界を指すので、外界にあるものになる。→詳細 かといって、ではどう訳そうかと1週間悩んだけど、もう無理～😇
業界の批判といえでも、いいたいこといってすっきりなのか、開放的な曲。教会音楽や古楽のような天上的な響きすらある。また「愛されたい」が根っこにあるからか、言葉の選び方がどこかやさしい。笑
スミスは、モリとマーの2人ともが蠍座マターなのが面白い。モリは月・木星・海王星、マーは太陽・水星・金星・海王星。まさに蠍座が溜め込み過ぎて爆発した感じ。その爆発があまりにも美しかった。この蠍座マターだけだと重苦しいけれど、そこにモリの双子座1度の太陽、マーの射手座5度の火星、水瓶座の土星（蠍座と90度）辺りが、ユーモアや男気で上手いこと散らしていて、風通しいい。この曲なども蠍座的な心情を解放し、昇華しているところが素晴らしい。
